transpixel Click image to see larger version - Original design, Feb 2002. Several co-workers were asked to review it. They pointed out that the magnetic compass could be affected by the proximity to the gyros. Several people with flying RVs confirmed this would likely be a problem. Builders had success with locations on the far sides of the panel, so it was decided to move the compass there. transpixel

Avionics layout updated to reflect the boxes that were actually purchased. Many switches moved to left side, so they could be operated with the left hand, as the right hand would be on the control stick. transpixel
